நேரம் சரியாக ஏழு மணி, இருள் சூழா பெளர்ணமி அது , சரி "வா போகலாம்" என்ற தொனியில், என் இருசக்கர வாகனத்திடம் தனியே பேசியபடி என்‌ வீட்டை நோக்கி கிளம்பினேன். வாகனங்கள் எல்லாம் வரிசைக்கட்டிய படி நெரிசலில் தவழ்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தது. சென்னை இயல்பு நிலைக்கு திரும்பிகொண்டிருகிறது ,ஆம் சாலைகள் எங்கும் ஹாரன் சத்தம் , இடைவிடாத போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் , ரோட்டின் ஓரம் பூக்கடை வாசம் , டாஸ்மாக் முழுதும் அதே அடிதடி சண்டை , இவற்றை கண்டுகொண்டே கடந்து கொண்டிருந்தது என் இருசக்கர வாகனம். கிண்டியின் வழியே அடையாறுக்கு ஒரு பயணம் , வழியெங்கும் இன்னும் தூர்வாரபடாத குப்பைகள் , அந்த பகுதி மக்களுக்கோ , இல்லை அதே வழியில் பயணிக்கும் வாகனவாசிகளுக்கோ அது புதிதல்ல பல ஆண்டுகளாக இன்னும் மாறாத அதே நிலை , என்ன இந்த முறை மழை என்ற பெயரில் கொஞ்சம் அதிகம் அவ்வளவே... வண்டியை ஓரம் கட்டிவிட்டு கொஞ்சம் மெதுவாக நடந்தேன் . கண்ணுக்கு எட்டிய தூரத்தில் யாரோ ஒருவர் சோகமான முகத்துடன் , ஆழ்ந்த சிந்தனையில் தனிமையை தனக்கானாதாய் கொண்டிருந்தார். அருகில் சென்று "அண்ணே என்ன ஆச்சு" என்று கேட்க தோன்றியது.இருந்தும் ஏதோ ஒரு தயக்கம் என்னை தடுத்தது. உண்மையில் தான் யார் என்றே தெரியாத ஒரு நபரிடம் என்னவென்று பேசுவது. எப்படியோ மனது ஒரு நிலைக்கு வந்த பிறகு அவர் அருகில் சென்றேன்.
